In a striking and unusual drug bust, Kingston police discovered significant quantities of fentanyl—along with other controlled substances—concealed inside a rotisserie chicken. The discovery led to an arrest and has raised serious concerns about innovative smuggling techniques being used by drug traffickers. Authorities are intensifying efforts to trace similar incidents, highlighting challenges in detecting contraband hidden in everyday items and the evolving methods of illicit drug distribution.
Investigators found 46.1 grams of fentanyl, 10.8 grams of cocaine and 25.2 grams of crystal methamphetamine stuffed in the roast bird.
