In a nostalgic yet bold move, Hudson’s Bay has sold its iconic name and brands to Canadian Tire for $30 million. The deal marks the end of an era for the historic retailer and kick-starts a new chapter under a very different corporate banner.
The deal will allow Canadian Tire to sell items under these brands across its 1,700 Canadian Tire, Mark's, SportChek, Party City and Pro Hockey Life stores.
